Great sounding job with R/GA working with Subaru and Johnson & Johnson
R/GA has a posting in my web analytics job board for a Senior Analyst position in Manhattan as part of the companies Strategic Planning group. I talked with Shannon Moorman at R/GA earlier this week about the position. The company is looking for someone with real seniority who can work directly with existing clients and prospects at all ends of the web analytics spectrum, from pitch to presentation.
One of the concerns some folks I talk to about web analytics positions at agencies raise is travel. Shannon said that this position would definitely support the Subaru and Johnson & Johnson accounts in Manhattan so travel would be minimal (she estimated 10 to 15 percent annually so even double that and it’s a pretty reasonable travel component for a position like this.)
Other R/GA clients include Nike, Nokia, and Verizon. Shannon mentioned there may be possible work with other accounts including Nike, so the lucky person who fills the position could visit me here in the Pacific Northwest on Nike trips and experience all that our fine city has to offer and see some local color. Swoosh, indeed!
I asked Shannon why R/GA and she said:
- R/GA is one of the largest digital advertising agencies in the world
- Their CEO, Bob Greenberg, is a pioneer in interactive media and still runs the show
- The company just won AdWeek’s “Digital Agency of the Year” award
- R/GA is the only digital agency in AdWeek’s “Top Ten Ad Agencies” list
Pretty impressive.
According to Shannon this position will pay between $100K and $120K depending on experience, provides no bonus, but the company provides great benefits as part of IPG.
