The nice people at OpenAI solved a HUGE problem we were having with their gpt-3.5-turbo model today by releasing a version that can take a larger input of tokens (their “gpt-3.5-turbo-16K” model for those of you paying attention.) What this means is that ANYONE can try The Analyst’s Companion now and you only need a normal, freely available OpenAI API key, not the fancy “gpt-4 API beta” key that some of us have.
We still have to hand-approve folks but we have started the process of getting the application approved with Google so hopefully that requirement ends in the next few days as well.
