Help Request: Adobe Analytics Worst Practices!
As a consultant who spends almost every day helping clients improve their Adobe Analytics implementations, I get to see the good and the bad that is out there. Unfortunately, I tend to see more bad than good when it comes to Adobe Analytics implementations. Therefore, when I was asked to share some Adobe Analytics tips at the upcoming Adobe Summit, I decided that I would share some of the things that you should not do when implementing Adobe Analytics. I have found that sometimes avoiding landmines is just as important as knowing the right way to do things (which I try to share in my Adobe Analytics book and multitude of blog posts).
However, since there are thousands of Adobe Analytics implementations out there, many of which I will never see, I would like to ask for your help. Please send me a list of your “worst practices” in Adobe Analytics implementations. These can come from past implementations you have been part of, your current implementation or any other things you think should be avoided. I have already started soliciting feedback on this topic on the #Measure Slack Group and have received some great ideas.
So please send me an e-mail (versus comments here) with your ideas and if you are at Adobe Summit, you may see some of them in my presentation! Thanks!
