Analytics Demystified 2015 Training Days
Each year the partners here at Analytics Demystified provide two days worth of advanced analytics training. While we wish we could do it more often, busy schedules only permit this to be an annual event. I am pleased to announce that our 2015 training days will take place in San Francisco this October 13th & 14th. In the past, attendees have LOVED our classes since they tend to go much deeper than other classes publicly available. Whether the class is on analysis, technical implementation, testing, Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, attendees always walk away with tips and tricks they can use when they get back to the office. Over the next few weeks, we will be spotlighting some of the classes we are offering. In this post, Brian Hawkins and I will share information on the classes we will be teaching.
Adobe Analytics “Top Gun” Class
Many years ago, I decided to conduct a class for people who manage Adobe Analytics at their organization. But since Adobe already offers classes on its product, I wanted to create something that went a bit deeper and shared all that I had learned about the product over my more than twelve years of using the product. I targeted this class for the advanced person, who had already used Adobe Analytics for years and wanted to kick things up a notch and understand all that the product could do. I called it my “Top Gun” class for experts and gave it a whirl.
To say the response was tremendous would be an understatement. I dropped tons of Adobe Analytics knowledge on attendees and they ate it up! While some were overwhelmed, those who knew the basics loved going deeper into the product. At the start of the class, I had attendees rate themselves on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of Adobe Analytics skills and most rated themselves highly (8-10), but when the class was over, their scores tended to change to a 4 or 5 as they realized that they had previously only scratched the surface of the product. The class goes through many of the concepts in my Adobe Analytics book in the morning and then covers real-world scenarios in the afternoon, so attendees can see ho the product can be adapted to answer almost any business question. By the end of the day (yes, it is a full day!), attendees unanimously agree that they have improved their understanding of how Adobe Analytics works.
Therefore, I am pleased to conduct my “Top Gun” class again this year at our Analytics Demystified training event. If you manage Adobe Analytics at your organization or are someone who wants to know how you can push the limits of the product, this class is for you. I will only be conducting the class one day (October 13th), so space is going to be limited. I suggest you register early to ensure a spot in the class. Optimization expert and author of the book Adobe Target: Classroom in a Book, Brian Hawkins will be hosting a half-day training session for Adobe Target. Brian was an early member of Offermatica, which is now Adobe Target, and has hosted hundreds of training over the years. This course is designed for those that want to take their knowledge of Adobe Target to a new level. The course will also have a major focus on all the changes that took place in the tool over the last year or so.
The training session will incorporate many of the concepts outlined in his book http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Target-Classroom-Brian-Hawkins/dp/0321962877 with a deeper dive into:
- Adobe Target architecture (data collection, data exportation, etc..)
- Activity Types
- Offer Types
- Hands on use of BOTH Adobe Target Standard and Adobe Target Classic
- Statistic’s used in Adobe Target that will give you much deeper insights on test results
- Adobe Target Premium and Automated Personalization
- Integration examples and opportunities with internal and external systems such as TMS
- Strategic use cases of Adobe Target
The feedback from this sessions has been incredible as participants were able to take their learnings and apply them immediately to their optimization program in place.
